About

I'm Brie, an Air Force veteran working toward my first role as a SOC analyst. After a company-wide layoff in late 2022, I decided to put my full effort into building real, hands-on security skills. Since then I've earned GIAC certifications through a competitive Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) scholarship with SANS, finished SOC analyst training, and kept learning through TCM Security, Just Hacking Training, and other platforms.

That training sits on top of a decade of enterprise work. It included enterprise software administration, technical support, and writing documentation to a standard, and I worked with technical and non-technical people to document processes, train users, and improve how things run. I also studied paralegal work, which taught me to read and apply legal and regulatory frameworks. All of that carries straight over to SOC work, where clear triage notes and incident write-ups matter as much as the analysis.

What I'm looking for

Entry-level SOC analyst (Tier 1) roles. If you're hiring or know of an opening, my LinkedIn has the details and is the best way to reach me.

Certifications
